I created an installer once with NSIS and the script provided, but I can't quite remember how to do it again and I can't find the old "how-to" guide.

Can someone post a quick-and-dirty list of steps?

Sure sure..

Ok firstly you want to have NSIS installed from http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page

Then you will need the NSIS script from this site

As well as the actual ZIPPED version of UniUploader..

copy the script into the folder where you unzipped the uniuploader zip.

copy your settings.ini file into this folder as well

right click on the NSIS script and right click it to open it in the NSIS editor.. uncomment the line about settings.ini (and be sure the path its looking for is correct.. its been a while but i am pretty sure that you will have to edit this line to remove the path and just leave the settings.ini part)

click compile and presto you are done with a customized uniuploader for your guild!

this creates the installer which (in addition to installing UU) copies the ini file you made to whoever installs' compies

mights as well be your UU installfolder.

It took me quite some time to realize this as I searched my *** off, looking for an uncompiled zip of UU

I cant seem to find my settings.ini file where I configure the url and everything... in C:\Program Files\UniUploader all I have is a Languages config file, a License TXT file, logo1.gif, logo2.gif, uninst, UniUploader.exe, and UniUploader internet shortcut.

wheres the settings.ini file?

Run UU first, set the settings, then exit
