Cannot find guild

Alright, Before everyone tells me to read another link read this.
I have read all the other links and searched for 2 days now on how to fix this.

You can view the roster at www.spitfirenet.net/roster

The problem is that is says

"Could not find guild: 'The League of Shadows' for server 'Durotan'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration"

I have made sure I typed this in correctly about 15 times now and still I get this problem. I am not sure as to what it is I have done wrong. Someone please help me out here.

I had the exact same problem when I first installed WoWRosterDF. You need to also download and install the GuildProfiler add-on to your WoW folder, then use it in conjunction with CharacterProfiler to create your CharacterProfiler.lua file. It must add some info into the CharacterProfiler.lua file that is critical to the way that WoWRosterDF works. As soon as I took these steps, I was immediately able to:

1) Go to the WoWRosterDF page on my site. It would not go here before I took the above steps, only give me the same error message that you got.
2) Upload my CharacterProfiler.lua file with no issues whatsoever.

Do I upload this Character.lua to the same /update.php page, Because i believe I read this in another post and tried doing it and it didnt work.

if you go to www.spitfirenet.net/roster/update.php and scroll down what is the Officer password used for because when ever I click update on that box it takes me back to the same page. Please help me

spit,

First you have to update the roster listing, browse to your CharacterProfile.lua and then put the admin password in and hit update on the lower listing, if the character isn't in the database, it can't update the individual stats of that toon.

Once you browse to the file and enter the admin password, then update it, you will be able to update your individual stats on each character.

Same problem except i have loaded both the guild profiler and character profiler

AND...

I have also added my password and still will not upload the guild member list

Everything else looks to be working perfectly..

I am having the exact problem. This is a new guild. not the original one I uploaded on install. I have uploaded everything many times as I did last time. I have changed all the config info. I keep getting errors messages that basically tell me to do something else first that runs me in a circle of things I have already done. :shaking:

Could not find guild in database. Please update members first.

Could not find guild: 'myguildsname' for server 'myserversname'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration.

are the errors I am getting. Do I need to do a totally new install since this is a new guild than when I did the first install?

Just a reminder. The file GuildProfiler.lua is no longer used. The only file used for guild and character updates is CharacterProfiler.lua and pvplog.lua if you are using that one.

Unfortunately it doesn't. =( I am using CharacterProfiler.lua as the only upload I am using now...same errors.

Do you happen to be in two guilds?

I ask because CP will only passs on the information from the last guild you logged onto.

Also make sure that you are entering the passord in the Officers Only box.

Think of it as a Guild name change. The guild was disbanded...moved to a new server...and renamed to a new name. Now I can't get the info to update. Even after changing the guild name and the server name.

delete your CharacterProfiler.lua and CharacterProfiler.bak and resave them all. That should take care of any ghosting which MIGHT be the issue. I think we are narrowing it down

I did that too...still made no difference. I even tried it from a different computer...nothing. I am out of ideas lol
