Been working on Recipe Calc V2 lately.

Here's a demo link.

Still got a few bugs to iron out and features to complete, any comments, criticisms or suggestion are very welcome

If you add the same thing twice, nothing happens. Do you htink that it would be useful to either increment it with the 2nd add, or remove the link for an item completely if it's already listed? For example:

I go to Enchanting and click the add next to:
Enchant 2H Weapon - Greater Impact

then I scroll down and it's still there, and I click add again. It loads again with no changes. Maybe nitpicky on my part, but I would think that you might want to remove it from the add list when it's already in the recipe list.

The only other issue that I see is it seems to only reference the first component of the recipe. For example, if you go to leatherworking and select kodo bag, all you get is the thin kodo hide, not the light leather or the course thread.

Other then this I love what you have done here. Looks very helpful. Might think about putting in a list of who can make what like the made by addon. If you did that you could also breakup the components so you list each recipe and the coponents and the quantities and who can make it, then have the part you currently have for a totals part of the report.

you have not to add it again, you just change the number and click 'go' and it will update the count.

Well, i did it in that way and it worked... :)

Looking better. :) Not sure what the difference between save and save (new) is. Other question is once I save one how do I go about getting rid of it out of the database? You might want to make the Save part an optional part with either a variable in the conf.php or something in the roster config page.

I would also love to see the items linked to Thottbot or something so I can see the item. Maybe a mouseover with the item description. The mouse over, you could put on the add/add set links so you can have a popup for the item on add and a popup on add set that lists the items in the set. :)

Keep up the good work. Can't wait to get it so I can use it on my site. :)

Well "Save" saves it to the same place you last saved too this session (eg updating a list a bit more) "Save (New)" forces the creation of a new list. And right now you can't remvoe them, I was thinking about them timing out after 30 days or something.

Maybe you can keep track of when they were last accessed and time out on that. Someone might like to have them hang around, and they visit the item every couple of days. If it goes away after 30 days, then they will have to make a new one every once in a while and relink to it. Something like 60 days after last visit sounds pritty difinitive that they will not be back or for that matter, remember what was in the calculation. :)
