Startup with windows checkbox?

Is it currently working? I have it set to on as default with my guild distribution of Uniuploader but it seems like it really doesn't start up with windows?

Any help is appreciated thanks!

Oh! And if it doesn't work, is there a snippet of code I can input into the NSIS Script to make it automatically place Uniuploader in the startup folder?

im sure theres a way to do it with NSIS

what you are experiencing is intended behavior :lol:

seriously though you have to actually manually start UU the first time for the registry startup value to be written, it isnt enough to install it.

Bump, as I'm experiencing UU NOT to load on Windows startup, even after several manual loads. And yes, I HAVE checked the boks

then something is erasing the registry key, or is preventing things from starting with windows via that registry method.

A few of my guild members are having the same problem. Interestingly (coincidentally) only those running XP Home have the problem. Seems to work fine on Pro and Media Center. As I said, might just be a coincidence. Any ideas ?

Its not working for me also on several winxp prof machines. The checkbox does not do anything to the Registry. Could you please be more specific on which regkey should be created? HKLM or HKCU?
