[SOLVED] updating not working ( old uniuploder ---> 2.5)

hi,
i don't find any post about this, but my last version of UU try to update himself to v2.5 but stay a the beginnig progress of download..

same thing on all my guild members...

( i use uniadmin to )

can i change adress to proceed automaticaly update , uploading uu2.5 on my own serveur ?

so my members dont need to download and install another time UU...

theres a UA option to automatically check for UU updates, change it to 1 and enable it in UA

I had the same problem and here is what i found

after starting UU the update would start itself but lockup

after i let it sit a while i closed it out and started over and this time closed UU before accepting the license agreement this worked

to make sure for my guidies that this would work i tried it on a different pc

well even with closing UU 1st it did the same thing but worked the 2nd time

this was the same on 4 different machines but always worked the 2nd time

oki i try this...the first time i'm not waiting for 2nd phase ^^

but uu say that it waiting for closing windows UU....and say it's right continuing to launch download... but nothing.. locked on this phase ..

i try waiting a bit more ^^

Try restarting UU
The updater is kinda flaky I'm told

trouble is solved

in updater ( MAJ) section :
deactivate option : keep my critical UU settings updated ( garder mes parametres critiques d'UU a jour)

With regard to lockups when updating to a newer version of UniUploader, my experiences indicate that if I am also simultaneously updating addons, then the UniUploader updater will hang. I do not tend to use the Keep Critical UniUploader Settings Updated option, so I can't speak to how it might also be impacting the UniUploader update lockups. My guess is that if any of these updates are run simultaneously, problems may occur. Since noticing this pattern, I make sure that if I say yes to updating UniUploader, that it is the only item checked on the Updater tab (I usually say no to the update, uncheck everything else, hit Synchronize, say yes to the update, update happens and restarts, check what I want to sync regularly). This approach has worked every time for me.
