HI, didnt know where to post this, but is anyone testing out or modifying the addons and the roster in preperation for the coming expansion?

Curiosity on my end and all, i recently got into beta and while testing out other addons (since most dont work) I wondered about the roster addons and what possible disparity there might be between some people having original WoW retail and others having the new expac on release....

Unfortunately, we don't know since none of the Dev team has access to the beta

YOUCH i somehow thought that might be the issue =/ Right about now i wish I had some programming knowledge... well here's to hoping one of you gets an invite! (i recieved mine out the blue as well so we never know eh?)

wasnt sure if you all were aware of this but i found a response for what UI authors can do to prepare their mods prior to TBC release.

Hopefully you can get the necessary help from someone in beta with knowledge of your addons and the roster beforehand, but in the least it appears they will be providing an opportunity for you guys to mangle with the api.

That's a good sign, hopefully the API is going to be the same for non-epansion wow as it is for TBC

Yea looked a lil further into it and it appears the WoW 2.0 patch will be concurrent with the Expansion. So Expansion and WoW itself will use the same API's apparently. (Guess i answered some of my own questions in the process eh? lol)
