Changed Roster Password and can't log back in

Postby Rayyl » Fri Jul 07, 2006 10:07 pm

I changed the password to Roster Config, received the dialog box confirming what I changed it to and clicked OK. When trying to get back into Roster Config, it won't accept the new password nor the old password. Just to confirm I was typing it right, I was able to back track in my webpages and grab the password from the dialog box and it still won't work. Now I can't get back into my config.

Oddly enough, the new password works just fine on the upload page. Just not when trying to get into the Roster Config page.

After closing my browser completely (Firefox 1.5) and not just the tabs with the Roster windows, I was able to get back into the config with the new password.

Fun with Browser Cache! I really wish they'd give you a way to clear stuff like that...

I understand about browser cache, but why did it work just fine when uploading the guild info again?

I think it's a cookie issue. The upload page doesn't use the cookie.
