I manage to edit confog, to update guild and my character first time. Now If I click on save settings in config.php or update character or pvp it simply sits there long time and then it gives me error that it can not load a page.

What is wrong?

What permisions shoud be on config.php and update.php

There's a selftest in the config screen. Run it. Alternatively you can run it in a safe environment and try to keep restrictions as little as possible, eg making all writable from root. It's my understanding You got some edit problems. Make sure wowroster has a writable tempdir and make sure it's able to properly function.
