can anyone post how to add addons...

i added these addons: maxres, AltMonitor, Itemsets

but it wont show in the menu of 1.7.1

I had before 1.7.1 and left the old addons in the addons folder some of them worked fine but was older than the downloaded one, so I deleted theses addons and put the new folder in addons folder

Now none of the new addons work for me

can anyone help?

Make sure you don't have duplicate folders somewhere

k i tried that:

1. removed the old ones
2. reload the site
3. added one addon
4. reload the site
5. add another addon
6. reload the site
...

thx now it works

i think my problem was that i added to many addons at once without reloading each time

I think I'm having a similar issues, I installed Looty and it works fine if I go to /addons/Looty however I don't know how to make it show up on the menu :S

Looty is not compatible with the addon framework
It's a separate application that just uses the Roster database
