500 Internal Server Error

Unfortunately, that's not much to go on. I tried going to http://ldc-guild.puntogcafe.com/ but just got a blank page. Is that how you're expecting to access your roster? What's the full address so we can at least see what it looks like from our view?

All errors in the 500's are permissions issues of some kind either ownership or file in most cases.

500 Internal Server Error

Postby Sprawl » Sun Aug 13, 2006 4:46 pm

I too get a 500 Interal Server Error when I upload. I'm able to avoid it by deleting the CharacterProfiler.lua and regrabbing the data each time. It seems like when the file is over a certain size (around 500k) it causes this.

Some guildies of mine have the same problem ; it seems it's caused by Internet Explorer... In fact, .Net Framework relies on Internet Explorer code for http connection (or on a shared dll). IE6 SP1 seems to submit bad formatted post data (for example http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831167/en-us ) in some particular cases.

I ask my guildmates to patch their Windows, and I will do a feedback.

Those who have the same problem, could you post Windows (normal SP1 or SP2), IE, .Net framework versions you use, and if you have pass all patches proposed trought Windows update ?
