WoW 2.0 Patch

Postby Gibin » Thu Dec 07, 2006 3:56 pm

Ok, waiting for the Patch. Will the Patch for 1.7.1 also work with 1.7.0? Cause I can't update the Roster so long on the Server runs MySQL 4.0.25.

Greetings from Germany and get well soon

WoW 2.0 Patch

Postby zanix » Thu Dec 07, 2006 4:07 pm

Roster 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 should be ok on MySQL < 4.1
I would make a separate install of Roster and test it out

WoW 2.0 Patch

The last time I tryed to install 1.7.1, the install-process says that it will not work with the old databank. I installed it but it does not work.

WoW 2.0 Patch

Postby Arkel » Thu Dec 07, 2006 9:04 pm

NOT Updating character [Character]
Data is from CharacterProfiler v
The version of CharacterProfiler used to capture data for this character is older than the minimum version allowed for upload.
Please ensure you are running at least v1.5.2 and have logged onto this character and saved data using this version.

Could not update "". Maybe its not set in configuration?
This is the error that I am getting now. I have compleltly reinstalled the Characterprofiler. Just wondering if this error is do to something I am not seeing or is this what is being fixed with the new 1.7.2 patch...
Thank you

WoW 2.0 Patch

Postby PleegWat » Thu Dec 07, 2006 9:32 pm

Roster 1.7.1 does not accept CP 2.0 data. Roster 1.7.2 works for me and zanix, but as far as I know only zanix, mathos, and matt can put out a new roster version.

Thanks for the tip. YES Zanix I hope you get to feeling better here. I know how it is to be sick. Eeeks I feel for you. I do thank all the developers here you all have done a great job on this. I have also been looking at the different thing and I am looking at revamping alot to work with yabb forums. If there are any other developers here that would like to tackle this project with me please let me know. I have been a developer for 22 years now. Worked for company's such as MCI, Compaq, and taught at UCCS. So let me know here please.

I think it is safe to say that we all can excercise some patience.

Take care of yourself my friend.

If you haven't got your health, you haven't got anything.

A big thank you for all the efforts you dev's put into this.

It is an incredible tool!
