Uploader will not run

Postby Killian » Mon Dec 11, 2006 8:18 am

When I start the UniUploader program(latest version 2.5? i think) there is pop up window that says this:

"UniUploader has encountered a problem and needs to close.Sorry for the inconvience."

then it closes..and i cant do anything with it. Everything went fine with the install..no errors or anything...I have no idea why it does this.

I closed that first window with TaskManager....then a few seconds later i get an actual error as follows.......

"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process ID=0xab8 (2744), Thread ID=0xdd0 (3536)."

...help....

Did you try uninstalling UU (instead of repair) and installing it again?

Now I get a different Error

Process ID=0x48 (3144), Thread ID=0xe38 (3640)

Is there a port I need to forward on my router?...my firewall is disabled

seems like when it tries to modify a file or something is when the error occurs. I dont have my warcraft installed in C:\programfiles\warcraft or whatever...it is in a different directory. Could that be the problem?
