DF_AltMonitor

I guess I'm the first person to have a problem installing this addon.

After putting the addon in the appropriate folder and selecting the addon from the list I get the expected message.

Message

The AltMonitor tables haven't been installed yet. Click Install to start the installation

So I click install.

And am presented with this message.

AltMonitor Configuration

Authorization Required

Password:

I'm running the install as a superuser and no passwords associated with any of the accounts work.

Anyone have any ideas?

Right i didn't fully port that correctly so with in the roster admin you can set a password the password that you set there will work for the install of alt monitor.

It's probably my ignorance, but I don't recall ever setting a password for the roster itself and every password I've tried doesn't work. Is there a dafault one I could try?

default pass is admin nowadays isn't it?

The 1.7.1 version of altmonitor uses the login class, so if that version is ported and the login class is linked to the DF login it should work. with DF passwords.

Altmonitor in DF is still the old version, 1.31 I think
And anax has hardcoded the Roster Admin Pass as changeme

But you are correct pleeg, if altmonitor 1.4 (is that what version it is now?) was ported to DF, then yeah...it would work just fine

/([\w]+)'s alt/ Is what im using I was told to post here cause There is no support on the Altmonitor forums for ported altmonitor.. soo its installed and i setup the config to use 's alt. This is my website http://www.guildwyb.com anyone have any clue why its not working?

OK after I install it, and then try and update the roster through the upload character.lua file-I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in htdocs/bloodpact/modules/WoWRosterDF/lib/wowdb.php on line 383

I have downloaded and applied the WoWDB hotfix file and here is line 383:

Code: Select all: return $db->sql_affected_rows($this->db);

Any clues anyone? Anything I need to change? Do I need to be using Uniuploader instead (which doesn't work for my server either for some reason)?
