i get this msg when trying to config.

not sure how to fix that.

Just guessing but I think you need to setup your mysql database correctly.
Its looking at your website as opposed to your database. edit this line in your config.php
$db_name = "xxxx";
and put your db name in here.

ok this is how it is setup

$db_host = "mysql";
$db_name = "database06129178";
$db_user = "*****";
$db_passwd = "*****";
$db_prefix = "roster_";

I know that the user and pw are correct and this is my db name and its still not working. Not sure where to go from here.

I'm having the same problem. everything is set up the right way and I have made the .php files both readable and executable but i get a blank screen when i type in www.domainamen.com/roster/conf.php
can anyone help the computer illiterate?

just put the new roster on and this is the error i'm getting. I can't get to the config page. any ideas?

Hi , I am no expert on this, but i did manage to figure out how to get around the issue....I have been fighting with it for 3 hours now, deleting and recreating new users and databases....



I had the same issue untill I used the FULL name of the database created...

instead of just entering "roster" (the name of the database) I noticed that database manager inclued my managment username as a prefix....(ie...myusername_roster)


so in otherwords what im saying is if you still cant figure it out try using your username that you log into your MySQL Account portal as a prefix.
