Hi guys, first off - Great tool many thanks and keep up the good work
Secondly, this is my first install of Roster and it seemed to go seemingly well... but.

When I first installed it, all the the mouse hover/over stats for all equipped items etc were displaying correctly, for some reason they have "just stopped working". I really cant remember making any changes so I dont understand why. Now all the items just display a link instaed of all the rich information when you hover over.
If you could let me know how the overlib/mouseover stuff works I might be able to try and troubleshoot it - Where does it pull this information from?

I did notice that the RosterDiag screen used to be fine but now show Cirtical and Warning alerts, do I just download the supplied link to the zip files and upload and overwrite? Do I need to run an update.php script afterwards? Do I even have to update the critical files?

I have tried searching but cannot find the answers, if you need some more information please ask - any help would be greatly appreciated.

This Problem, Unfortunately, is a known issue with the CharacterProfiler. It is, for some reason, not always pulling in the Tooltips. Calvin from rpgoutfitter.com is looking into the problem, but it is a random issue. Which means it is extremely Difficult to track down. (Keep up the good work Calvin. )

As to this issue. If you have installed 1.7.2Beta, this is what you would get. The 1.7.2b is Beta software so the RosterDiag page is not up to date with the file version information. (Zanix, it might be an idea to remove the Roster Diag page on future Beta releases.)


Oobidah, Don't get dissapointed. The WoW2.0.1 caught everyone on the hop. Zanix and the guy and Gals here, are doing their best to get everything updated. Keep up the good work everyone.

I have the same issue as well. Some characters gear and items show the mouse overs and some don't.

I'm experiencing the same problem as everyone else. I actually did a clean-install of the WoWRoster 1.7.2 on my server, and prior to, removed 1.7.1

Things worked fine with 1.7.1 and I could see the tooltips, but now I can not. Visit SouperFriends.org and click on the Roster button (On the left) to see what I am talking about.

This is an error with CharacterProfiler, not Roster

Is the Profiler a WoWRoster.net product, and if it is, is there any patch to fix this error?

I looked today and there's a 2.0.2 version out. I was still using the 2.0b7 version that came out when the wow patch hit. Going to test and see if the problem is still in this version as well. Can anyone confirm here that is having the issue if there using the CP version 2.0.2?

CP/GP 2.0.3 are both out at this time with fixes for the blank tooltips.

I have the same issue with the mouseover, and trying to save the characterprofiler info for the character again doesn't help. Can't get it working.

seems to work fine now

it works fine now. for the ppl that still got problems try to delete your cp and gp folder in addons first and install the new one.
during gameplay type in:
/cp purge all
That should clear the catch and rescan your characters. type in
/cp show
to see the progress.
