WoWRoster 1.7.2 Released

Postby zanix » Sat Dec 30, 2006 2:49 am

Thanks to all the people who tested Roster 1.7.2 beta 1-2, and RC1

Now, it is finally released and should be (mostly) bug free
Image

There have been a lot of changes in this version and we hope you will like them
Read the Change Log

Some basic notes about this release
  • Read the documentation on Rosters' use
If you don't like the documentation, help fix it, please!

  • THERE ARE NO ROSTER ADDONS INCLUDED WITH THIS RELEASE
We are now releasing Roster without addons
SigGen IS a Roster AddOn, you MUST download it separately

  • If you were running 1.7.2 RC1, you can upgrade to the final code
...You beta testers must be screaming WOOT right about now
However, you cannot upgrade beta 1 or beta 2 to the final code, sorry

  • Most v1.7.0 and v1.7.1 Roster AddOns should work perfectly in v1.7.2
There may be one or two with exceptions

  • This may be the last 1.x version as we are starting on Codename-R2

Hi

please dont flame me - I have checked the wiki and the txt files in the download as well as the forums.

I am running V1.7.0 and want to upgrade to V1.7.2. The only upgrade instructions I can find are for upgrading from 1.6 to 1.7. Can anyone point me in the direction of 1.7.0 to 1.7.2 upgrade please?

Thanks!!

ijhammo, The upgrading instructions are in the install.txt file in the download.

It should be the same as from 1.6 to 1.7 if im not mistaking. Read the install.txt file though. I've been upgrading since 1.6 myself and have never had a problem going from version to version. Hope this helps you.

You guys rule! Thanks for putting so much time & effort into this!

I was able to flawlessly install a fresh roster on one guild and upgrade a different roster (1.7.0 or 1.7.1, don't remember which) and everything went completely smoothly.
