Was that with the new or old version of roster. And if you can post any server specs that you may know so we can possibly find a resolution for this issue

Sorry for the confusion/lack of clarity. My prior experience with WoWRoster was with a different guild/website. Currently working with a fresh install of WoWRoster v1.7.0 on a different domain.

Operating system = Linux

I am having the same problem when I try to upload guild info. I have all the rights to the guild to get info and run /gp show (I click the save button to ) go to upload use an officer password and I get

When I go to roster I get this start page.

Could not find guild: 'guildName' for server 'realmName'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration

Anything you want me to try I am the web admin of my site and can change anything on it.

I tried the phpMyAdmin trick and it worked. Under the guild table I modified:

guild_id: Set to 1
guild_name: Your guild name
server: Your server
faction: Horde/Alliance

I didn't bother with anything else. After that, my menu worked properly and I made the in-script modifications and uploaded the data.

I was finally able to get the problems I was having fixed after following the suggestion to modify the .htaccess file (seems rather messy to have to modify that file).

Getting the same exact thing, and all the tricks I used last time aren't working this time. I'm setting up rosters for 2 different guilds. First was about a month ago. Had the same issue, but the 'fix' I used then isn't working now.

Permissions are correct, db set up right, everything linked right and installed correctly. Nothing has changed on my host either.

After getting the .lua file uploaded, i now have roster data. I still have problems when trying to use the roster config front-end. Returns the following error:

I've tried re-uploading the admin/config.php file, with same results.

I'm getting this same error message when trying to configure my Guild Bank.

Then I went back to the Guild Config to see if something was wrong there. And when I try to save that page now, I get that same error message. When previously it worked fine.

All my problems were fixed when I put the following code in my .htaccess file in the main html folder:

I'm getting the 406 error as well.

I've tried:

- Removing all htaccess files
- Editing the mySQL database (I think correctly anyway)

No luck. Still says guildName etc.

When I try to do the initial guild setup, it just hangs for 5 seconds, then when the update page appears its a blank "page not found error." IT isnt timing out from me having a 500 member guild. It just hangs 5 secods then returns a page not found for my update.php.

What is the correct permissions for the chmod of config and update?

my config and update are both currently at 644.

I am uploading my .lua from the saved variables, have password entered and correctly, blah blah blah and all that jazz. Ive used roster before. However, I never ran across this problem.

When I hit upload, the next page says "page cannot be displaye"

Not "page not found"

When submitting with password in the attempt to do the initial guild setu it does this.

And when i tried submitting without a password to see if it would say i didnt have a guild, it then again gave me a page cannot be displayed.
I tried replacing my config and update.php file. Neither did anything
