Actually it changed nothing for our guild. The vault is great for space, but I seriously hate the idea that if you give a rank access, they can basically take whatever they want and not have to even GIVE anything.
Blizzard just made a shared bank, with a slim set of tools and options.
Not much more than a guild dump. We only use the vaults for space, since you can get more into a vault than you can a bank.
And we are setting all the "storage" banks into sub-guilds to have even more vaults.
All this did was give us more space and a money log trace to show where money went.
If blizzard wouldn't have overpriced it so much, AND added accounting functions to set item pricing and credit for donations, then we'd stop using GuildBanker.
Besides at 9350g just to have a full vault of 588 slots would only hold about half our current inventory. lol

if you have access to the beta of the roster pop over to the forum i moded the guild bank to Guild Vault to show the vault invintory still needs some work but its worken

I'm not happy with the lack of accounting either, but this is what we have to work with for now. We're setting up our guild vault so 1 tab will be full of free stuff to give/tank, and other tabs will be for the standard bank stuff. Our officers will be handling all the giving of stuff (and decreasing bank credits) to guildies instead of 1 or 2 officers who had to log onto alts before. I hope it will encourage use of the guild bank.

Try GuildBank, it still works with 2.3.0, but don't use it with auctioneer advanced or you get a crash at mailbox.
We STILL use this addon and we have 11 vaults (1 main and 10 sub-guild vaults)
We set access to vaults only by the banker/guild leader.
This gives you accounting ability.
I have a developer working on updating it to autoset pricing based on vendor/AH percentage, and auc-advanced compatibility.
May hire developer to make roster 2 addon to show/sort/search inventory.
But for now we just use the built in parsing program to list the inventory on the website.
