Possible to filter members by rank

I'm running 1.6.1 of WoWRoster and have it so it filters out certain ranks of members so they won't display (at least anything with index.php). If people want to see alts they can click on the Alt addon.

Is there any way to do this with 1.7? Between lvl 1 friends and twinks and inactive players there are probably 80 characters that I want to filter and I really don't want to upgrade to 1.7 unless there is some way to do this. If this isn't a feature already has anyone done a code hack to do this?

It should be roughly the same as in 1.6.0

Just make a separate directory, upload 1.7.0 to it, upload some test data (or even copy the old db and conf.php and do an upgrade on the copy)

Then, figure out what you changed in 1.6.0 and look for the place in 1.7.0

Anyone have the code to filter "some" ranks at main page on 1.7 ?

like rank = "banks"
