I have 300+ jewel crafting and it is coming up in the list but there is no icon in the professions area...just wondering if I did something worng?

I searched the forum but cant find any info on the icon issue for jewelcrafting.
Made By works fine, but the general roster dont show any jewelcrafters.

Looking at your fix. for some reason when i try to uplaod the renamed .jpg file to the icons directory, it looks like it uploads fine but I do not see it anywhere in the icons directory.

That is strange. Make sure that you have uploaded it to the right directory as sometimes FTP clients like to "slip". =)

well somehow it seems the owner permissions to that directory are all messed up. it acts like I don't have permission to do anyting to it. All it will let me do is rename it. So for now I renamed it and now im re uploading the dir with the new file in it. I'll have to get ahold of the server admin to get rid of the old directory for me. Verry strange.

Well I reuploaded the directory and there must be some limit set on my server. I just noticed that I can't seem to see everything in that icon directory. says' there's only 2000 files in it and there suppose to be 3500.

There is probably a limit to how many files you can put in one directory. I think I've seen something like this before, but I don't recall the solution, if we found one.

Yea it's almost like a limit in howmany I can view. because I went to my roster and delted the cache and refreshed and looks like all the icons show up. Although not to be picky but it seems like the new icons are real low res. they don't look as nice as they did.

Ok, I followed the fix to the letter and the file renaming was no problem either, but still no icon for Jewelcrafting.
I dont have ant premission problem as I can browse to the icon.
