WoWRosterDF 1.7.3.0 Released

Postby zanix » Fri Feb 16, 2007 3:50 am

When I get some time, I'll work on converting SigGen over to RosterDF myself

On that note, I'm going to try to make SigGen compatible with DF and the standalone roster without modification

I'll probably have time this weekend

WoWRosterDF 1.7.3.0 Released

Postby Kelv » Tue Feb 20, 2007 1:05 pm

I can preview the images, but nothing triggers the save.
if I change the saveonly=0 to one it saves it to the /sig folder
'index.php?name=WoWRosterDF&file=addon&roster_addon_name=siggen&mode=signature&member=Adine&saveonly=0'
Points to a trigger issue?

Edit:

Covered here too, sorry for cross post
http://wowroster.net/Forums/viewtopic/t=2734.html

Edit:

Recycled the trigger.php from here worked for me :)

robojerk wrote:Okay, I'm not sure how safe/dangerous/security hole this is but I got it installed. I would wait for Anaxent or Zanix to comment on this before anyone else does this..

I opened op /modules/WoWRosterDF/addons/siggen/index.php and commented out the following..

Code: Select all
// ----[ Check for password in roster conf ]----------------
if( empty($roster_conf['roster_upd_pw']) )
{
   print errorMode($siggen_locale[$roster_conf['roster_lang']]['no_pass_error'],$siggen_locale[$roster_conf['roster_lang']]['no_pass_error_t']);
   return;
}
// ----[ End Check for password in roster conf ]------------

Then I was able to install Siggen (yay!)

When I undo the above changes i get that error again even though the mod is now installed.
Password not defined or empty

No...you can't have an empty password
What's the point of having an empty password?

I'm sorry, but you need some kind of a password set in Roster Config to get in

As long as that line is out of the equation I am able to get it working.

The secure way to do this is to change the first line of the above code to:

Code: Select all
if (!is_admin())

This says if you are not a site admin then exit.

So... Should look like this

Code: Select all
// ----[ Check for password in roster conf ]----------------
if (!is_admin())
{
   print errorMode($siggen_locale[$roster_conf['roster_lang']]['no_pass_error'],$siggen_locale[$roster_conf['roster_lang']]['no_pass_error_t']);
   return;
}
// ----[ End Check for password in roster conf ]------------

Edit:

Having issues with database I guess.
When I try to install via DF Modules, I get a database error messege.

The package has a conf.php that is already filled in with all ****** for the variables of db name, user etc... Should conf.php be completely blank to start?

Either way, since the error is a database msg, Im not sure what needs to be filled out and what dont.

I tried using my data in the conf.php prior to install, but still got same thing.. (using my DF info for the $db info, and my roster info for the $roster_db info.)

Hopefully someone can offer a little assistance to what Im overlooking.
