This is a strange one, I have the addons enabled etc...

I'm sure I'm doing everything right, I go in game, make sure most things are saved (bar my bank and stable) and then type /cp show just to make sure.

I also go in to my guild list and click save there. In the log on the left, everything seems to be fine.

Then I log out of Warcraft, take a look at my characterprofile.lua and it never changes! I don't have read only on or anything like that, quite strange.

Are you sure you're looking at the right CharacterProfiler.lua? The one in WTF and not in Interface?

Most of my users make this mistake

And it's pretty easy to do, even if you know which one is supposed to be used. All it really takes is for your browser (or whatever) to default the "file open" dialog box to the wrong directory and if you don't happen to notice where you are, you see a file with the right name and click on it.


I also think it's hilarious that "WTF" is expanded for us on this bbs, but as "What the F***?" instead of "WoW Text File" (or whatever it really is).

Search function is great!! I've been trying to upload the file in the interface folder, I'll try the on in the WTF folder
