Changing enUS.php stops freetype grpahic?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.. if its notplease move it..

Anyways...

I recently wanted to change the 3rd search criteria from WWN Data to something else. I found that every time I change the file enUS.php it stop all of the freetype graphic from appearing, the motd, the serevr graphics and anything creted by siggen. First i thought I'd left a ' out or something but infact any alteration to the enUS.php file then reupload has this effect. I can change " * WoWRoster.net Roster" to " * WoWRoster.net Rosters" in the rem lines at the top and it happens. WHY???????

You are not using a utf-8 complaint text editor
In other words, do not use notepad

Ok....

Downloaded and used EmEditor Free to edit it.... Tried altering loads of setting in UE to no avail....

Thanks pointing me in the right direction
