Saving level 0

Postby Marticus » Mon Mar 12, 2007 9:07 pm

For some strange reason, my most recent character upload saved my signature image with level "0" instead of 60. Another user brought this to my attention when it happened to his profile. Any thoughts on this?

Check your CP.lua file and see if it's stored as level 0

It probably stores 0 in DB as well if there's no level field in the CP.

I think it is too late to check this as I've done several updates. I will post a follow-up next time this happens.

Saving level 0

No, the level is as it should be in the cp.lua file. I will note that it does this with "Auto-save image on character update" is enabled and it shows the small version of the image, in the update log, with a 0 for the level. This seems more like a problem with the SigGen addon and not with the roster itself.

The image might be cached in your browser

Okay, that may have been the case with the later updates, but why would the cached image have been set to 0 in the first place? I no longer have the images saved during updates and that seems to have solved the problem. That leaves, however, an issue remaining that might be a problem for others.

From a bad upload perhaps?

No real way to be sure if you don't have the CP.lua file that caused this
