weird cos the reason I tried was that a one of the guildies had that message in UU when he selected yes to upgrade and although I could browse the new website I couldn't get to the download in the browser but I can now so all is good thx anyway guys

your guildy is using a dns server (isp's usually) which was slow to update their records.
