How does updating of wowace-addons within UniAdmin work?

For now, find them again on the wowace module in UA and hit download

I eventually plan to place an update button on the addon page, as soon as I figure out a good way to do it

I'm trying to figure out how the WoWAce piece works and I'm a little confused by the "find them again on the wowace module in UA" part of your statement here. What exactly do you mean by "find them".

Do I need to add an Ace mod to the AddOns page and UniAdmin "knows" this is an Ace addon? I'm trying to sort through this forum and I can't seem to find any FAQ or documentation that explains how this is expected to work.

As reported elsewhere, I currently get an archive error when attempting to invoke a download from the WoWAce page. Does UniAdmin access the SVN repository directly and then lists which addons I can enable/disable for inclusion in the UniUploader queue?

Well, for right now, the WoWAce module in UA is broken due to the fact that they removed the file that UA uses to list addons
This will be fixed in the next version

If you want to add addons from wowace that UU and/or jUU will download then you must select them in the WoWAce module and hit download
This will put those addons in the addon list, then jUU and UU will see them

I'm sorry there isn't much documentation on UA, writing the code and updating it (as well as Roster, SigGen, and itemstatsDF) takes all my free time lately

Don't sweat it. I'm in the business of software development myself (QA) so I know exactly what goes into it and what's required to crank out the code that not only compiles...but works.

So, what does it mean when you try to redownload them and get:
You must update to WowAceUpdater1.8 or other compatabile updater to continue to use this portion of the site. http://sf.net/projects/WowAceUpdater

The old list only has the one line it that you see now

Is there any update on when 7.9 is going to be ready?

I've been very busy lately with my new job so time has been short
I really hope this week I can finish 0.7.9
