Postby kintama » Sat Apr 28, 2007 9:40 am

Just tried the jnlp link on the site and it loads. Looks pretty but doesnt really do anything for me. I cant find a Java 6 installer for Mac have u got a link? your url provided directs me to a catalog that i cannot view.

jUniUploader on a Mac

I think the dev is not a Mac user.. I also think Java 6 isn't available for the mac but I heard somewhere that the latest release of Java for MacOS will work though. I dont own a mac so don't shoot me if I'm wrong.

jUniUploader on a Mac

Postby lhunath » Sat Apr 28, 2007 3:41 pm

jUniUploader should work just fine on Java 1.5 on Mac.

If you have problems with it, or it doesn't do what you expect it to, please be more specific so I can fix any issues or explain to you how it works.

As I stated earlier, jUniUploader does use some Java 1.6 specific features which will be disabled if you use Java 1.5, but none are critical to its functionality.

Java 1.6 is not yet in official release for Mac. You can either use a beta release or just use the 1.5 for now until they release 1.6.

"OK, so ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking, yeah?"
