I've been all over the website, wiki, and forums... found alot of posts about the general idea of web-to-wow, but nobody's really asked about a specific application...

I have started this thread to rectify that problem... hehehe

(forgive me if this should be in another thread...)

OK... so my guildies use Auctioneer and Gatherer, and I'd like to find a way to synchronize the data from these 2 addons so that they're more effective... This way when a guildie uploads data, it synchronizes his Gatherer data, adding nodes to the web file that he has found, and then getting any nodes from the web that others have found...

Same with Auctioneer... add the latest scan data to a file on the web, and then bring that data down to the user again. This way guildies have the most information possible for Auctioneer and gatherer..

Is there a modification that needs to be made to the add-ons to make this possible? Is this possible in any way?

Auctioneer - Really big database... could get messy ;-)

It should work, just have a PHP script output the correct LUA code and have UU insert that into the main SV file. The data should become available to the 2 addons the next time the user logs in

The gatherer synch add-on will prolly do the job for gatherer...

As I am thumb-fingered when it comes to programming... I will leave the Auctioneer idea out there for an ambitious guy - If I tried it I'd end up ereasing the internet or soemthign ridiculous...lol
