The roster installed properly, however I am getting the:

'You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration'. I have gone through the configuration, and made sure everything is correct. The problem comes when attempting to load my guild by uploading characterprofiler.lua.

I get the following error message after selecting CharacterProfiler.lua and hitting 'Upload" :

update.php has full access (777), and this is not the first time I have installed and used roster. I have not had any problems prior to version 1.7.2 - and am not sure if this is an apache-specific problem, or something else.

This is weird, you are already accessing update.php when you select your CP.lua file
Do you have access to the error log on your server?

Well, I'm definitely guessing at something apache-related. Roster 1.7.x never sends different http response codes.

I replaced the IP digits with 'x' for obvious reasons, but that's the error code.

I have an idea of what it may mean, but I'll let you decide since you're the expert. I don't want to mess with it until getting a response from you zanix.

The error is quite clear, I'd say. They check uploaded files for something (no idea what) and it rejects your CP.lua. Assuming you aren't hosting yourself, contact your host and tell them what's happening.
