In case you haven't been following Itemstats, there's been a new update to it which allows you to draw all your info from Wowhead.
New developments also allow the automatic download of the necessary icons

Alla recently quit working for my itemstats, and I had a dirty hack that was putting wowhead links into my db anyway - so this stuff saved my life.
