[FIXED] Error Parsing on Mac

Postby cpryce » Mon Jun 25, 2007 2:04 pm

I don't know if this is Mac specific or not, but sometime after 0.9.11 jUU stopped parsing my CharacterProfiler.lua properly (I never got a chance to run 0.9.12 or .13). I've attached the file.

Here's how jUU complains:
Code: Select all
[  CONFIG | 121:java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run() ]-
 #  Checking account CPRYCE ..

[  CONFIG | 121:java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run() ]-
 #  Checking file /Applications/World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/CPRYCE/SavedVariables/CharacterProfiler.lua ..

[  CONFIG | 121:java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run() ]-
 #  MD5s: 9cecf9cf3fbdfb1c4f5fbd60ee6befe8 -> ccfc6f6d245afd88f3b72b478dfde08c : Uploading? true ..

[  SEVERE | 228:com.lyndir.lhunath.juniuploader.domain.LuaParser.parse() ]-
 #  Format specifier 's'

Error Parsing on Mac

Postby lhunath » Tue Jun 26, 2007 4:56 am

Please restart jUU via webstart. It will redownload the application (I have updated it).

Provide me with the new error generated by it (there is currently a bug in the code that generates error output preventing me from seeing the true nature of your problem).

[AWAITING USER] Error Parsing on Mac

Postby cpryce » Sat Jun 30, 2007 9:42 am

This is from 0.9.14.8, and I've attached the version of the CharacterProfiler.lua it's chewing on.

Code: Select all
[  SEVERE | 351:com.lyndir.lhunath.juniuploader.domain.LuaParser.parserError() ]:
 #  Could not parse /Applications/World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/CPRYCE/SavedVariables/CharacterProfiler.lua.
 #  (LuaParser.java:351) java.text.ParseException: CharacterProfiler.lua:1202,47: Node list must end with a comma; found a names: ["OfficerNote"]!
 #  (Logger.java:227) java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not parse /Applications/World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/CPRYCE/SavedVariables/CharacterProfiler.lua.

[  CONFIG | 121:java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run() ]:
 #  Not parsing, marking whole file for upload ..

[AWAITING USER] Error Parsing on Mac

Postby lhunath » Sun Jul 01, 2007 5:59 am

Fixed. This wasn't Mac related. It was due to the usage of '}' in your guild member comment for a certain person. And my forgetting one little keyword in my code -_-. Anyway; should work as soon as you get updated to 0.9.14.9.
