Scrolling the site in Internet Explorer takes up 100% cpu

Postby Jedi » Wed Jul 19, 2006 2:28 pm

A couple days ago it was fine, but now when I try to scroll it takes 100% of the cpu and it takes a few seconds to scroll down a couple lines.

No issues on other websites and it was working fine a couple days ago. Did someone make a change that would cause this?

Makes browsing the site unbareable.

This is a known issue that cab bee fixed from this address

http://www.wowroster.net/Your_Account/edit=prefs.html

And then changing the theme to Dragonfly.

We are working to make sure our site works with in all browsers at athis time firefox is by far the best browser to use, but if you insist to use IE for now just chane the theme.

It's not just IE that can benefit from this. I use Mozilla and I was (in the last few days) noticing that the scrolling was...disjoint. Like the main part of the screen was scrolling first, then some parts inside of it were trying to catch up.

Dragonfly seems to be much smoother. Not sure I like the color scheme, but I'll live. ;)

If you are using the "dragonfly" theme, force refresh and tell me what you think!!!
(So I know what to change, lol)

I think the blue on the banners is a little bright and the blue on the message "options" (the boxes right above the text entry box) is a little dark.

Other than that, it looks (and works) great!

(These are just my opinions, of course. There may also be other ways that would make it easier on my eyes.
