Installation issues with WoWRoster

Index.php

I've been trying to get roster working for my website for a week or so now, and so far I get this:

Installation Errors

Sorry, your server does not meet the minimum requirements for Roster

I work with GoDaddy.com for my domain and db's and I set up the MySQL earlier this week. I think part of the problem is Index.php. There's probably something I'm missing to direct it to my db. Is there any way someone can tell me exactly which fields in Index.php I need to change to reflect my db info? Sorry I'm not a wiz at this stuff, and I think everytime I go in there I'm doing more damage than good anyway. Any help is appreciated!

There's issues with roster and godaddy. If I remember correctly, after creating the DB you need to activate it or something. Search around a bit, should be on here somewhere. Or contact godaddy - you're paying them after all, and you're paying for mysql, so you're entitled to support if you're not getting mysql.

This is not roster related - the check the installer does is the most basic one available. If the installer says mysql isn't available, then it isn't, and it's ALWAYS an issue that can only be solved by your host, or by using the controls your host gives you over your site.

Thanks for the help, I guess I set it up as windows hosting instead of linux; I switched up and it detects mysql now.

The problem now is after i go through install.php, at the end it tells me to remove install.php, update.php and /install/ from the directory when I try to continue on to config. If i go to conf.php directly, the page is blank.

Lost again, help?

Remove those files and refresh the page, it will provide you with a link to Roster Config
