wow settings getting reverted when using uu

hi all!
all my guildies get some of their wow-settings reverted when using uu.. eg. buff durations is getting switched off.
has anybody had this behaviour too and would happen to know of a fix?

Sounds hard to believe tbh. First of all, the setting you name is stored server-side if I'm not mistaken, second, UU doesn't modify anything in the WTF folder afaik, it only reads the .lua files you selected.

I've never seen or heard about this behaviour anyway.

that's exactly the same thing i told the first reporters of the problem.. nevertheless im experiencing it myself..

Well, try to narrow the problem down then. Try to find out which action reverts the setting. Is starting UU enough to revert the settings? Or do you need to upload before the settings get reverted? Stuff like that

the setting "sho buff durations" eg. is located in savedvariables.lua and gets reverted from 1 to 0 everytime i start wow via uu.. it does not get reverted when i start wow directly.

as we found out in the meantine it wasn't uu but characterprofiler which is set as a mandatory addon in uu. exactly why is subject to further investigation ^^
