[1202] Not Filtering Alts

Roster CP -> Defaults Config
-> Alt-Text Search: Alt
-> Alt-Text Field: Player Note

or
-> Alt-Text Search: Alts
-> Alt-Text Field: Guild Rank Title

Hide Alts still show up, when hide alts is clicked.

[1202] Not Filtering Alts

The settings about alts in the default config are only used by the box which counts your number of members on the topleft.

Check out the configuration of the memberlist addon for the options which are used for the memberlist.

Ok, now I see what it does, it just hides the relation to mains +/- not what I actually wanted, which was to totally hide alts from the roster list completely.

RosterCP --> Addon Config --> Members List --> Group Alts --> Off
Is that what you are looking for?

Nope, I don't want alts showing on that page whatsoever, grouped or otherwise, when I click HIDE ALTS, but thanks anyway.

The most you can do is have the alt rows invisible by default. However this is still overridden by the open alt button in the interface, since it's just a default. I don't really see any good reasons to change this behaviour.

That would be fine, I just want the option to only view mains on the roster list, if I click Hide Alts, obviously, Show Alts would have them appear.

Any advice on how to hide alts by default then?

Total: 137 (+128 Alts) At least L50

Makes for a big first page :(

You can set them default hidden in the memberslist config. This only works if you've got main/alt detection working, but with those numbers you probably want to have that working anyway.

You'll forgive me for being dense I hope, but I've been through the Member List config, and for the life of me, cannot see anywhere where it sets grouped alts as shown/hidden as default selectable.

Damn, you're right. Must've forgotten to carry that option over or something...

I'll look into the source next time I'm able, but that'll be tomorrow night soonest (30h from now)

Fixed SVN [1320]. Group alts now has "Open", "Closed", and "Ungrouped" values.
