Installing from scratch

When i do a fresh install, i get the following error

http://www.god-guild.com/roster/install.php

"Detected invalid access to this file!"

I have MySql database and php enabled.

any thoughts?

Yeah I have a few thoughts...

Like, what version are you trying to install. Server information, etc.

Well, not really sure what happened to Kenneas but I run into the same error. I currently have a stable install of roster v1.7.3 installed and running. I am attempting to install roster_20b and cannot even access the install.php. I have checked the permissions on the roster_20B folder and install.php and they are ok. Any help would be appreciated.

The stats for my host are as follows.

MySQL: 4.0.16 (wiki recommends 4.1 or higher)
phpMyAdmin: 2.10.2
PHP: 4.4.1

Let me know if there is any more info you guys may need to help with the issue. Thanks in advance!

Guys, keep roster 2.0 beta in the beta forum
And read the install instructions, those will solve your problem
