I keep getting the following error and can't seem to setup the directory location right.

Your phpRaid installation could not be found! Please check that $phpraid_dir is set properly in conf.php

Code: Select all
$phpraid_dir = './modules/phpRaid';

Are you using that version? I hear it has a huge php globals issue. Just wanted to know how it worked for you.

Nope not using it myself, just noting how a lower case/capital 'R' can screw up a script

cool, I got that to work now it asks me for a password update and then just shows the roster menu. I checked phpraid, but nothing was updated.

I guess I have the perameters wrong.

$phpraid_user = db username?
$phpraid_pass = db password?
$phpraid_host = do i have to fill this in?
$phpraid_name = 'guild name or db name?
$phpraid_prefix = db php raid prefix?

$phpraid_host = db server. this info can be provided by your hosting provider if you don't know it. Might also be 'localhost'.

$phpraid_name = db name. Once you have create a database on the db host, enter the name here so phpRaid knows where to look.

$phpraid_prefix = this is the prefix of the tables holding phpRaid info. By default it is 'phpraid_'

I dont think this addon actually creates the chars in the phpraid roster - how would it know what PhpRaid user account to assign a character to?
Once a char is created in the Phpraid roster this addon will sync the class, level and resistances from wowroster

phpRaid Synchronization

Postby methadoneklinic » Tue Aug 01, 2006 6:27 pm

BugIt, heh, I don't use meth for my ingame name ;)

and this addon does not create chars in roster. It is an addon for roster that syncs the roster with phpRaid. Once phpRaid is installed, drop this package in the Roster>addons directory. You will then have a button on the roster menu for "phpraid sync" (or some wording close to that).
