Armorysync svn[256] not updating correctly

Postby lunzet » Fri Oct 05, 2007 11:16 pm

Hi all,
I am running Roster 2.0 svn[1377] and Armorysync svn[256] and found the following strange behaviour. Previously when I started a memberlist sync it would update the status and say: 1 of 1 completed.

Now when I update the memberlist the status is not changed but the List seem to refresh anyways.

The more concerning behaviour now takes place when I do sync the Members with the Armory. It will only update 1 character and then stop. With previous versions I could just start the process and it would update all chars in this Guild.

Do I miss something or is there something wrong?

Please let me know.
Thanks for the great work

EDIT: Found it myself by disabling AJAX

Armorysync svn[256] not updating correctly

Postby poetter » Fri Oct 05, 2007 11:27 pm

With svn[256] i introduced ajax witch is on by default. If you just want to update turn it off in the config. Though in svn[256] there is still a bug with update time witch causes non enUS rosters to reject the armory data cause the date is set to some around 1970. This ones is fixed and will be in the next release.

If you want to help please tell me your browser and its version and if you get any java errors.

Firefox 2.0.0.7 without any Java Errors. It will just not update.

But fine for me now after disabling AJAX. Its running perfectly...if all these parsing errors would be getting less.....

Thanks a lot

Hmm, i might be false, couse my dansk is very bad, but from the URLs you posted i would say, that has nothing to do with armorysync cause this urls would never been called from it. and if so you wouldn't get any java error messages from this pages in your browser, but from your own webpage.

Ever been on wow-europe.com and watch some nice High Level Armor Sets?

lunzet: I think poetter doesn't mean errors in the php page, but in your browser ajax. You need a plugin like firebug to see java errors in firefox, I think.
I <3 /bin/bash

PleegWat is right. I'm not really sure, too much FF Addons, but i think the error console is a standard feature. Look under extras. It will post every js error, so please cleanup the log before testing ArmorySync. In a standard installation of FF i think this is the only way to find something out about js errors
