How to add a addon to the downloads module

How do i do that and what does it mean?

When you go to the downloads section at the top it has:
Downloads
Main | Search | My Downloads | Add Download | Random | XML syndication

Just click on the Add Download, it will take you to the add download form, fill out the form, ensuring you put your addon in the WoWRoster->1.7.x Addons or WoWRoster->2.0 Addons category.

Alright, is the addon updateable from within roster then?

No, but it does provide a link to the download page when it detects the version number on the download page is newer than the local version
