Maybe I missed it, but i cant find anything that tells me how to use the SVN to update my copy of roster.

If there is already a post on this I Apologize, if you could link it to me.

Thanks

That file is only if you have shell (telnet/ssh) access.

If you only have FTP access, the easiest way to keep synced with SVN is checking out SVN locally, and after each SVN update sync it with your online site using some FTP sync program - there are bound to be some programs around that only upload changed files.

For more detailed SVN instructions, check SVNergy
I <3 /bin/bash

Try use RapidSVN if you don't like tortoise program because load at shell... RapidSVN does the same as tortoise but only loads when YOU use .. not every day.

Webpage:
http://www.rapidsvn.org

Use:
Chekout .. url .. GO! next time, use update button.

Not necessarily
Install one of them on your computer
Get a ftp client that can upload only changed files

SVN checkout
SVN export (if you do not want to upload .svn directories)
FTP upload

SVN update
SVN export (if you do not want to upload .svn directories)
FTP upload
