When I upload CP and Groupcalendar.lua at the same time I get error:

I'm using WowrosterDF 1.7.3, EventCalendar and GroupCalendar 3.4.2

Your database is not installed go into the install_db.php file and remove the

if ( !defined('ROSTER_INSTALLED') )
{
exit('Detected invalid access to this file!');
}

save
then in internet explorer open the install_db.php file and your database should be installed after that. IT WILL NOT SHOW ANYTHING ON THE SCREEN WHEN YOU OPEN THE FILE JUST WAIT FOR IT TO FINISH LOADING AND WHEN ITS DONE YOUR DB IS INSTALLED

Having difficulties running the install_db.php

the directory structure /test/modules/wowrosterDF/addons/EventCalendar/install_db.php brings up a forbidden error

I try to go to the page via php, like http://the-brethren.net/test/index.php? ... install_db

Although, I'm not sure if the end with the "&file=install_db" is correct or not

oh yeah you have to rename your .htaccess file

rename to what?
Or do you mean CHMOD it?

I 755'd the .htaccess in both the modules and root folder, still forbidden access when I access test/modules/WoWRosterDF/addons/EventCalendar/

I know I must be doing this wrong, and I know this sounds nubbish.

Anyway you can explain this step by step?
I feel like I should be adding something to my SQL

you have to rename it to something totally different like change it from .htaccess to htaccess.file

that is an error in the installer it may be your dragonfly installation blocking it talk to anaxent he may be able ;to help more

Any other caldendar modules out there I can use in the mean time?

not that i know of i still dont have mine working so dont worry about it man lol but i use roster 2.0
