SigGen for 2.0 and Dragonfly

Postby Xaarn » Fri Mar 21, 2008 3:13 am

I am using the standalone version of Roster 2.0 and trying to figure out how to make the avatars from SigGen work with the ForumsPro module in Dragonfly. I think I've narrowed it down to the "@" in the file name.

Roster is installed in /roster off my home directory for dragon fly. I created a saved folder under this and pointed SigGen to save the avatar images there. That part is working fine, the image files show up as expected. So the url to access the saved avatar should be http://www.shadowwolfguard.com/roster/saved/Xaarn@US-Eldre'Thalas.jpg. This URL works fine when you go straight to it with a browser. However when I put the url in the "Link to off-site Avatar" in My Account on Dragonfly I get "A connection could not be made to the URL you gave" error. If I manually change the name of the file to something without the @ sign it works fine in Dragonfly too. Is there any way around this?

EDIT: Upon Further review it looks like it's the apostrophe in Eldre'Thalas causing the problem, not the @. I've tried escaping it with a \ with no success....anyone else hit this and figured out a way around it?
