I installed roster on my dev computer and everything works fine including realmstatus.

Then I tried to install it on my web host and again everything else but realmstatus works fine.

Realmstatus doesn't instert values in _realmstatus table so the server is 24/7 on unknown status.

My host has curl enabled. I don't really know what other PHP options are needed though. I have a php.ini file where I can set additional PHP flags if its needed. I want to mention that I live in Sweden and the host is in Canada. It looks like a time out to me or something because(sometimes) it takes some time before it refreshes the status.

Any ideas why is that happening?

Check Blizzard's realmstatus page and see if it is working

Yes it does work. As I said it works locally from my web server but my real host is unable to retrieve data for some reason. It doesn't insert anything in the db.

It's possible your host blocks port 80 via curl
Try opening the realmstatus image in it's own window and try changing the r=

I tried 3 more EU servers and none worked remotely. All of them worked locally on my computer though.


I forgot to mention that sometimes(very seldom) the server works on its own.

In addition something else that I noticed is that if I use the regular wow status from the original author that I modified to work as a block for Joomla CMS and I link from my host to my computer then it ALWAYS works for everybody and every server as well! I suppose roster would work as well if I was able to easily link it to my computer.

I will enable the realmstatus for you to check. Also if you move to the home page you will see the regular wow status and you can understand when I have my computer on if it works lol.

I tried at US server on your site, and it worked
I bet the xml feed for EU changed again, I hate them

I just tried with some US servers and it doesn't work either :shock: .

The the European Stormrage works fine! But I tried to call a new server and it didn't work...

I know it's the maintenance day today but I checked the page and all the realms I tried were up.

Now this is very strange

It looks like the xml feed has not changed
