wow i delted my post thinkin i was on the 1 i just moved o well. i have very little done on for the 2.0 ver and havn't sat done to look into the getin the svn up and goin. and still need to write up the thank you to the ppl i got the code from.

Is there a way to delete a database once it's entered, or do I have to uninstall/reinstall?

just go into the options and check to clear player and item history. when u update. but if u have the data base still in your karma list it will reload it.

Is there a way for this tool to retain a copy of the .lua and have it available for officers to download. Also is there a way to allow officers to upload the karma.lua?

My guild has been using karma for quite some time, and due to play times i'm not always the one doing karma. So i need to make a copy of the lua file available to my officers in a place where they can get it if needed at any time. Would be nice if this tool didn't simply parse the file, but retain a copy of it and have it available to download as well. Maybe retain a specified number of backups as well?

What could be better is that the addon could parse all the info stored and offer a lua file to download
You could even add search based criteria for the download

Roster's lua parser can also be used to create lua files

yes that would work too. Would be faster.

I'd still want a way for it to retain or generate backups though. databases changing hands so much, they get broken often.

Any chance that the Ni_Karma.lua can be read from web? I already coded a .NET application that allows to upload/download the .lua file and even update our Karma output page after the upload is done. I'd like to be able to point to the uploaded karma to update the karma instead of showing the file from my computer and reuploading everytime.
