I have a suggestion to add to the final version. In the help section, the settings page, I'd ask that you expand on the update URL a bit. I just spent the past 30 minutes looking through forums and wiki trying to figure out how I'm suppose to type the URL to my site and the update.php. The physical file "update.php" is in a folder called "pages" and this folder cannot be accessed directly. I found other suggestions that I use /admin/update.php, but that didn't work. Finally, I found a post that was nearly a year old stating to use ../rosterpath/update.html. That DID work...but the information was hard to find, and not consistent throughout the uniuploader forums.

Just a suggestion/request.

EDIT: Nope, that didn't work either. The debugger doesn't give me any errors, and the server response screen seems to be doing all sorts of stuff, but nothing changed on the roster. I'm sure it's just a setting on my end, but until I'm sure on the URL, I can't check any of the other settings.

UniUploader is not a Roster specific tool
It allows automatic uploading of WoW lua files

So the help in UU is not Roster specific

gotcha. Well, let me inquire then. my website is www.drknights.com, and WowRoster is in the /ROSTER subfolder. So after the http://www.drknights.com/ROSTER/, what would one put? I've tried "admin/update.php", I've tried "pages/update.php", and I've tried "update.html". None have worked.

The update link isn't really hiding itself.

You saw it many times, without seeing it.

Demo: go to your roster main page, and now, click on the big update button that show you the page where you have to indicate among others the CP.lua file.

Take a look at the URL on that page: that's the one.

Second demo: although UniUpLoader can be used stand alone, why not using UniAdmin ?
It will do two things for you that are very important:
- Sync the addons for your Guild members
- Sync the UpiUpLoader settings

What I did: I proposed a “UniUpLoader Installer” with build in settings (that means: having the SYNC URL set to our site = www.papy-team.fr/uniadmin/interface.php) so they have nothing to do to make it work.
Well, nothing ….. ok, they have to select the addons the want…

Make sure you have CP.lua selected in the SV list and if you want to update the guild data, make sure you have the Roster password in the password box

I think it IS working now, but for some reason CP.lua doesn't have correct data in it. The MOTD has changed and a couple new people have come on board while a couple people have left...Maybe I wasn't online long enough yesterday to capture everything, and I probably didn't open all the windows I normally do. The initial problem was the ulogin and user_password. I fixed those variables now.
