Hi,

I just installed UniAdmin version 0.7.9. All went well until it was installed. The i got the message to delete the install.php script in the dir modules. After deleting it it gave the error he couldn't find the file install.php in modules. Mmmm then why did it first ask to delete it?

First message
UniAdmin is already installed - please remove the modules/install.php file.

Second message after deleting install.php
Warning: main(/var/www/forum/uniadmin/modules/install.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/forum/uniadmin/set_env.php on line 76

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/var/www/forum/uniadmin/modules/install.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/forum/uniadmin/set_env.php on line 76


Did i miss something? Or is it an error in the script somewhere?

After another few hours of searching still didnt find anything on the site or files why this error keeps on popping up. Really hope someone can help me with this problem. It all looks good, but when i delete that file i get second msg, and if i keep the file i get the error msg.

Make sure that ?p=install isn't in the url

The url ends at index.php nothing more, thats the problem. It seems to be a bug in a script to me. 1 way it says, delete the install.php the other way it needs that file to function.

EDIT:
Seems there was an error in the db. I deleted it and rebuild it, now it works fine.

I didn't find a specific problem, but the connection to the db seemed to be the problem after removing the install check routine i got the db error, so thats why i totally removed the db and let the install script rebuild the db from scratch.

So i guess there was a little hikup during the first install that made the db corrupted.

Maybe a db check near the end of the install
