Red MA before character name

Postby Kinnandon » Thu Jan 22, 2009 2:19 am

OK guys, I've scoured the forums, but with no luck. Take a look at my roster...

http://www.oculusaeternum.com/roster/in ... list&a=g:1

Notice the red MA before the names? What is that and how do I get rid of it? I've only seen posts about how to fix a Unicode error, but thats not my problems.

Thanks in advance.

Red MA before character name

The MA stands for Mainless Alt

You should set up the alt settings in Memberslist

I cannot find a setting, other than what to show in the the Note. Could you be so kind as to guide me to the right page?

Thanks.

Took a quick look at your page. Since you do have alt information in your notes, you may want to set the following regex (Under memberslist > main/alt relations):

Code: Select all
/([\w]+): Alt/i
I <3 /bin/bash

Thanks. I really appreciate that. However, I'm not that great with actual underlying code. If there was a simple way of doing that, without modifying code, I could do it. But I don't want to mess up a good thing, you know?

You dont modify code to fix this, you enter this in the reg ex field in the Memberlist config in RosterCP

After much hard work, I finally found out where you are talking about. So I changed the regex like recommended, and turning back on that other thing I turned off... I still have nothing but red MA for each character.

I even went into game, and modified all my alts with "Kinnandon: Alt" in the public info part, uploaded to roster, and it still has the red MA.

I'm doomed.

Edit:
For some strange reason... its working. Dunno what happened. But its working now. Thanks for all the help.

The alt tagging/matching doesn't run unless you click update relations, or upload a CP.lua file
