Interface Imagepack

Postby vr5angel » Sat May 30, 2009 5:46 pm

Ok, so I just installed WoWRoster, and it is quite possible that I am a total noob at this stuff, I got most of it working. However some icons and images are not displaying, and it's my guess that it's everything in the Interface folder, I may be wrong. I have the folder installed in: /public_html/wayward/roster/img/Interface

Is there anything else I need to do? What should I have listed in the Interface Directory URL field, I currently have it set to img/. Here is the website: http://wayward-son.net/roster

Any help would be appreciated, I looked through the forums and found a post from like 2 years ago that had the same problem, except that I found no solution in the post.

Thanks in advance!

check the image extention of the files in the interface Icons folder and go in to the controlepannel and set the primary image extention to that extention this is mostlikely your issue...

I just double checked, and the files in the icons folder seem to be all .jpg, and I went back to the control panel and made sure it was the same thing, still nothing though. Are my file paths set correctly?

Did you download - dezip and upload this : roster202_with-imagepack.zip ?
Delete your SQL tables - and re-install (just to get default settings back for sure).
Just keep the default settings in the config section and all will be well.

Some images are still missing, but most of the 5800++ are there.

Well I uninstalled it, except now I can't seem to get it installed again. I don't know if there is some file left over on the server that I need to remove.

Now I get one of 2 messages:

-Could not obtain SQL structure/data

or

-Failed to connect to database roster2 as anasyu@localhost
1045: Access denied for user 'vr5angel'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

I created the database and gave it a username with all rights. I also tried to let it create the database, but when I do that, then it says:

"Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/vr5angel/public_html/wayward/roster/lib/functions.lib.php on line 123

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$config in /home/vr5angel/public_html/wayward/roster/lib/functions.lib.php on line 149

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$config in /home/vr5angel/public_html/wayward/roster/lib/functions.lib.php on line 154

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$db in /home/vr5angel/public_html/wayward/roster/lib/functions.lib.php on line 160

Fatal error: Call to undefined function border() in /home/vr5angel/public_html/wayward/roster/lib/functions.lib.php on line 165"

So as soon as I can get it back up and running I will let you know if it worked or not....lol

Recap: when you really want to re-install you have to:
REMOVE the directory that contains all WoWRoster files - typically called roster/,
EMPTY the database with all the roster tables,
UPLOAD the WoWRosterfiles,
POINT a browser to it.
