Database Reset

Postby Neflite » Wed Jul 05, 2006 2:56 pm

Hello,
since the last few updates of WoW and Roster some problems have appeared.
It begins with multiple crafting recipes and ends with renamed factions, resulting in multiple faction entries.

Seen from this point i would like to reset the whole database.is there a built-in option to clear all databse entries and start again fresh?
Or what is the best way to handle this?
New install?

Some detailed tips would be nice.

Thx,
Neflite

If you want to really start from scratch, drop the database, delete the roster directory, and reinstall. It's not difficult to set it up for the first time.

You could also install phpMyAdmin and attempt to repair the data in the tables by hand. But you need a pretty good understanding of what you're looking at to do that.

you can also just drop the data from the table that you want cleared and re-upload
