Hi all,

I just wanted to know what the proper way on how to install the roster. I've created a database and imported the sql's (structure & data) and edited the config file apropriately to match the databse and such.

When i navigate to the roster on my browser i get an error telling me that the roster isnt installed and tells me to install it, so when I click on install it then redirects me to the installer and tells me that the roster is installed. I've also tried removing the install.php and the install folder, that doesnt seem to fix the problem.

Roster is already installed - remove the file install.php and the folder install/ in this directory.
 

I've got no idea on what I'm doing wrong.

it seems the package was uploaded with the conf.php file, which should not be.
just delete it and try installing again. should work then.

Thanks ill try installing again... altho the package i downloaded had an existing config, I thought it was part of the install so i uploading the whole thing.

Hey Doom2k, what ended up fixing it for you? Did you delete everything in the conf.php file?

Clearing the config.php will make it go through the install proccess
